 Helen Kim Bass is a Financial Representative with New England Financial, one of the largest financial institutions in Los Angeles. As a Financial Representative for New England Financial and a Registered Representative for New England Securities Corporation, Helen’s diverse experience, education and skill allow her to provide investment and insurance support and advice to groups and individuals in the Southern California area and elsewhere. She can provide you with a full range of financial services including the preservation of capital, experience in financial strategy, and provide portfolio maintenance and insurance.
Helen started working in the financial services industry in 1981. After the birth of her first child, she became a small business owner. She brings 20 years of experience in family owned business in banking, restaurant, import & export, and retail businesses.
Helen serves as a MetDESK® Specialist in California, MetDESK®, MetLife’s Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids, is a resource to families who have children and other dependents with special needs. She is committed to helping families through the maze of legal and financial issues. Helen’s dedication to the special needs community stems from having a child, Daniel, her youngest son, experience a Traumatic Brain Injury in 1986.
Helen is a regular speaker and teaches a broad range of topics on finances: Special Needs Planning, Women’s issues, Care Giving Issues, Charitable Giving, Budgeting, and Retirement Planning. Recent speaking engagements include: Village Glen School (Help Group), Tarjan Center at UCLA, USNorthridge Hospital, San Bernardino SELPA, Yorba Linda SELPA, Fiesta Educativa, and the Autism Society.
Helen serves on the Boards of Director of a number of non-profit organizations and is founder of Horizon Project, a project of California Community PartnersÒ, for the children of special needs from the Asian-American community.
Helen, her new husband John, and their combined four children live in the West Hills area of the San Fernando Valley. Her family attends Sonrise Church of Simi Valley, CA where she volunteers her time in teaching financial education programs. In her spare time she enjoys theater and beautiful California beaches.
 Christine Kuether is a Financial Representative for New England Financial. She works with families and small business owners in preparing for their financial future through a complete financial review and goal planning sessions. Christine has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Christine’s primary goal is to be a lifetime resource for each and every one of her clients.
She lives with her husband, Greg and their two children in Ventura County. Christine enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and outdoor activities when she is not working with her clients. Christine is involved with Simi Valley Kiwanis and is a member of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Builders Chapter of BNI.
Christine completed MetDESK® training in June 2007 and is working closely with Helen Kim Bass to become a resource for families with children or dependents with special needs. MetDESK® is MetLife’s Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids.
